Welcome to
the Morning Worship
at
College Heights Baptist
on October the seventeenth, 2021
service begins at 10:30 AM
Let the godly sing for joy to the Lord;
it is fitting for the pure to praise him.
Praise the Lord with melodies on the lyre;
make music for him on the ten-stringed harp.
Sing a new song of praise to him;
play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy.

It is easy to want things from the Lord and yet not want the Lord Himself,

Lincoln & Moriah’s Last Sunday
with us will be Oc. 24. They’ve been a
blessing to us and we will miss them very
much. Immediately after our Oct. 24th
worship service we will have a fare-well
fellowship meal (pulled-pork, baked
potatoes, and all the fix’ns).
Men’s Event
Saturday, October 23rd, 9am-noon
Men will gather for a brief devotional
and then help clean up the church
grounds.
State Missions Emphasis
At this time every year we promote
mission activities in our KansasNebraska area. Today we will hear from
two student summer missionaries whose
work was supported by the Viola Webb
Missions Offerings.
Trunk or Treat
Sunday, October 31st
We will be hosting this event again this
year and we need volunteers to help out.
A sign up sheet is in the back. Here are
some ideas that you might do: decorate a
trunk, greet people, provide candy, or
lead a game. You might even come up
with a new idea.
That God can be known by the soul
in tender personal experience while
remaining infinitely aloof from the
curious eyes of reason constitutes a
paradox best described as:
“Darkness to the intellect
But sunshine to the heart.”
